sheilding & feedback

ok heres the question: if i shield my guitar will i still be able to get the same amount of feed back? i thought i would still be able too, but i just want to make sure before i do anything

shielding your guitar will get rid of buzz caused by external interference. Feedback shouldn't be effected because (basically) this is caused by the sound from the speakers being picked up by your pickups.
