Good performance on the drums and guitars. The bass could be a little more sparse, it might leave some space for some dynamics. Although I'm not diggin' on your vocal melody choice, I can see where you're coming from. Maybe the vocals are a bit loud - in fact, maybe everything could be a little drier too.

Shredding drums, though.

Welcome back.

got some rumble going on down below. very bass heavy. interesting style.

I am sorry, I tied to listen, but it would not completely buffer. Maybe later. :)

I drive by the hospice she was in every day on my way to work. There is a woman who still pickets to this day... The tension in the piece hakens what the local mood was around here very well. To my ear, it's more than a little bottom heavy, almost like it was mastered at very low volume, or in headphones. Performance absolutley SHREDS. The guitar work is deliciously speedy. I like the vocal choices, it made me picture that painting "The Scream"... I agree with the comment about about the bass maybe could be more sparse. (And I'm a bass player... ;) ) Great mood, VERY solid performances, just a little mix polish and some more mastering polish and you're in like Flint. Well done!

Thank you. Thank you very much ... (Assumes Elvis type sneer, as you catch a glimmer of the eye of the tiger ...)

It took me a second, but I eventually warmed up to it. :) That's some crazy tremolo action! The vocals sound pretty far off... maybe modify the EQ to bring them closer? It's weird but the vocal treatment in the beginning ("What would you say...") has a Smiths feel to it like how Morrissey would hold out his notes.

My mom always told me that if I didn't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

well,...

I tried to hold back but then I saw your $14 price tag. The song sounds like your trying to be different. Your blog reads like your trying to be different. All this adds to the annoyance of this song. It sounds uninspired and lackluster. You seem more fueled by ego than by creativity. I'm not trying to bash you I just get offended when someone puts a $14 price tag on something that sounds like it was recorded on a boombox in a dirty basement. Your attempt at edginess with the title from recent media events only further degrades the song. Maybe you should stick to poetry or atleast take your name out of the title of the band. Sorry,...this just was not a good song or good recording. Drums are buried, vox is too loud for the performance, the riff is too repetative and the composition is uninteresting. The lead is the only thing I half-way liked and it sounded out of place. I hope your not too offended as this was not my intent. I just couldn't not say anything after listening and reading the other comments.

your right.

that blog does sound pretty arrogant.

"i am a man of wisdom and knowledge"
"i am capable of anything"

and all that other crap about how original you are and how you can't be defined and stuff... i know that every artist thinks they're different and labelling anyone to a genre is inaccurate but just for the sake of generalisations, say something other then that you're so good that no words can describe how good u are.

so id try to re-word some of that. it makes u sound stuck-up.

sorry tried to listen to your song but for some reason didn't load...

Hey where did "Battle Until Blood" go? It's not on the purevolume site anymore. That was my favorite.

Mixing metaphors...
