Here's a new tune, continuing with my "rockabilly phase"...

I took kind of a minimalist approach recording this, and did it in only 4 days.

Any comments muchly appreciated!

Beautiful guitar work; love those leads.

The lyrics sound a little stilted in parts of the verses, as though you haven't quite decided how you want to vocally phrase them yet. And there is a touch of sibilance that seems to get better as the song goes on. I might boost the keys a tad.

Sounds great though and a lot of fun to listen to. Was it inspired by a real-life date???

Well I guess I forgot to mention that this is a remake...

The original is by Jimmy McCracklin, I found it in a collection of blues stuff and thought it would be fun to do. Original is probably from the 30's. I had never heard of him or the song before.
