All the violins are real. There are about 20-30 violin tracks on each piece. The rest is a Roland JV1010, some samples, a softsynth called synful ( worth checking out) and an Alesis, plus a Prophet and mini-moog (softsynth versions). I think there is a dx7 on one track, but the main stuff is a Roland Jv1010. Its hard to tell because there are so many real violin parts.

amazing man..

Mine arrived today and I'm listening to it right now. So far I'm digging it much. Excellent perfomances and arrangements. Nice job, David!

What, my Fan Noise CD?

Well, I was talking to DavidK, but sure. However that might be tough since the auction is always rolling over

I might have to record a new one with the fabulous MSH-2 SDCs. Then it would be in Living Stereo!

Listing a bunch of them or opening a store is too expensive.

Was pumped last night when I got home and found my copy of Electronic Symphonica. Listened to it for a while last night and today on my way to work.

Some of that music can invoke pedal to the metal driving it's so dynamic.

The sound quality is superb. Everything is crisp and clear - a noticeable increase in quality over the MP3's we've enjoyed of these pieces. The volume is more than adequate in my players - I can get it pretty loud (which is nice for dynamics).

The packaging is top quality...real pro job on the insert. Cool TY to Bea.

The playing, recording, mixing and arranging can only be described as fabulous. It will take several listens (again) to enjoy all the subtle and not so subtle nuances within each track.

Excellent CD DavidK!

Thanks fellers, I REALLY appreciate the encouragement  I HATE this part: the CD was OK to make, but I cant stand PR. I am a player, I just wanna play :(

It will be on Amazon, the new release date is Sept 19 DK on Amazon pre-order

My label met with Borders yesterday. They will carry it in Certain stores. They will definitely have it at all the Ohio Borders and Western PA ( Pittsburgh), since I have interviews and airplay with the various NPR stations. It's pretty hard to get a record sold at Borders, I had no idea. I hope the damn thing sells, I am running out of faberge eggs. :D
