Setup for Trance & Techno?

Iv got a Roland JV1080 with a techno card and a Korg X5
Im getting Ok results but nothink that realy cuts.
Im sequencing in Cubase VST32.



Can somone recomend a good synth.
I was thinking of a CS6X or Triton,Z1,JP8080

I have a JP8080, and use it to make trance. Its extremely versatile, can produce the phattest, most insane bass you have ever heard, or really delicate "plinky plonky" bits right up at the top end, not to mention some wicked sfx. Unfortunaltely, it can only play 2 things at once, which is a bit of a let-down, but its really easy to use.
