Setup Advice needed

OK,

Here is what I have to work with.

600mhz Pentium III

512 mb ram

Cool Edit pro 2

Maudio delta 44 soundcard with breakout box

soundblaster sound card

condenser mic

8 channel mixer Mackie 808m

4 channel headphone amp

Hosa 8 channel 1/4 to 1/4 snake

My question is this: How can I set up monitoring to monitor real time recordings. If I monitor from the outs on my delta 44 I can't hear my click track in my software which is routed through my soundblaster. I tried running a patch from the soundblaster to the input on the delta but that didn't work and would be impossible when recording drums. Any advice would be GREATLY appriciated!

First of all you've got to uninstall the soundblaster. Then use the CD that came with the MAudio card and install the card and the drivers.

Then read the Cool Edit Pro manual. It should be relatively easy from there...
