i have a delta 1010, connected to a yamaha mg16/4 mixer, and i want to hook up my monitors to them so that they're stereo. the monitors have simple
positive and negative wire inputs.
would i hook it up to the 1010 to get the stereo output? or the yamaha mixer, also the monitors are not powered, so what would be the best way to get them powered,
an amp or so? i have another
yamaha PA mixer that is powered, if i hooked it up to that would i still get stereo? any responses on how to get my monitors working properly would
be great, thanks.

Delta or Yamaha output to Power Amp to Monitors.

You could hook up the delta outputs to the powered mixer and that to the monitors.

The best results would be with a good power amp. QSC, Hafler and Mackie have some at decent prices.

This is the way i do it: route everything that's being recorded to a subgroup, then plug the subgroup out into the soundcard in. Then plug the soundcard out into an empty stereo channel, and the main mix out into your power amp for your monitors.
