Setting up from the start

Hi Guys.

Already being in possession of a mixer, amp & mics etc I have been given a Behringer Virtualizer and tube composer but have no idea how to set them up i.e. what goes into what and how etc, can anyone assist please?

Are you recording...or are you talking about a live PA setup?
The two items you mentioned are FX and signal processors...usually used on the Aux bus and inserts of you mixer, respectively.

Aux send goes to FX in...FX out goes to Effects return on the mixer.

Insert send goes to comp in, comp out goes to insert receive of whatever channel you want compression on.

Without more details about what gear you have (ie; exactly what mixer, amp and mics) it is difficult to answer your questions as each setup has it's own inherent requirements.
