Anybody with tips on how to use session drummer? I need the basics... Danke Schoen.

Some more specifics please!
The session drummer is the most underrated tool in the cakewalk arsenal
You can make your own patterns and file them there or do as I sometimes do and take drum patterns from midi files cut them up and recycle them in my own trashy songs.
My main complaint is that the window does'nt expand and you are forced to scroll.

What are you useing as a sound module?
What version of cakewalk do you own?

I have a Korg ms2000r and Home Studio 2002. I can get the session drummer box to come up, and I can play the sounds in the dialogue box by clicking on the right buttons, but I want to know how to program a beat into my song. In other words, how do I arrange the session drummer to appear as a clip? Thanks a bundle...

Highlight the track as if you're editing it,pull down the edit menu and chose apply midi effects.
When the midi track appears you may have to grab the end of it with your cursor and stretch it out to reveal the entire track, then close the session drummer to keep from double sounding the drums.
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the help! I'm working on playing MIDI tracks through through a DXi...we'll see how that goes...
