okay, I understand that the session drummer is a plugin, and it's basically treated as an effect. I've been using it just to mess around, and it's really cool. The thing is, how do I see it in a track view, or will I, and is there a way to send it to the piano roll for editing? Isn't it MIDI data? Anyone who can shed some light here will be considered my hero! Thanks

When you are happy with the Session Drummer, select Edit -> Appy MIDI effects... And you're set!

But you can't go back using the Session Drummer effect, because then you will double your drum sounds and really screw up the sound.

thanks, i'll give that a shot. some of the patterns are real time-savers, but i'd like to be able to manipulate them a bit. we'll see what happens. Sonar Power should be arriving by Thursday.

Sonar Power is fantastic! Good luck trying to put it away and do some work... I couldn't make it until I'd finnished the whole book!

it works just like you said!! thanks man! did you learn that from sonar power? the manual is kinda vague in some areas.

Yeah, that's Sonar Power for you there! I don't like the manual at all, I find it hard to read and understand sometimes. Then Sonar Power usually saves me...
