Can the Valves or the Tubes in the NTK blow?

The reason I asked is cuz I noticed you could by replacement tubes for the NTK and NTV.

I don't know much about tube mics or valve but I know the NTK sounds beautiful.

If they can blow, what will happen?
and How easily / often will they blow?

What tubes do is just plain old wear out. It takes a while but they do.
