Here's my problem...
1. I sync Reason to the MPC, I'm using the redrum as a soundbank basically, but controlling the midi with the MPC.
2. After everything is sounding just how I want it, I save my sequence in the MPC, import the midi to Reason and BAM! For some reason now the drums sound off beat and robotic(as if its locked into a stiff quantization).
3. I dump the same midi to Pro Tools 6.7/ Nuendo 3.0 to try and add the MPC 50% 1/16 swing to see if that will make the drums sound the same way as they do coming straight from the MPC but it doesn't help, they still sound off.
Why is this happening? Why is the midi while the MPC is master sound correct but when I dump the midi to Reason/Pro Tools/Nuendo it sounds off? I know a work around but that involves me actually tracking the midi into Pro Tools/Nuendo as I make the beat but that involves me arming tracks and having the MPC as a slave(recording and quantitizing with Pro Tools/Nuendo) and that slows down my tracking making process.
Here's what I'm using if that helps:
Akai MPC 2K XL
Reason
Pro Tools M Powered
Nuendo
M Audio Midisport 1 x 1
M Audio Delta 44
Thx in advance!
