Is Serenity a new kitchen cleaner?
I want to buy one, NOW!

Sounded good to me.

RAMI, for the sake of decency, could you post something crap that I can pull to bits, please?

Hehe...Well, you can always go to my "PALM Sunday" thread in Prime Time and rip the shit out of that. :)

Isn't that the old guy from "King of Queens"?

What he^^^ said!
I think you're ready to leave this place ...
Hehe...Thanx guys. I don't think so. I know my recordings are getting better and I'd even say they're pretty good. But I'm still capable of laying a real rotten egg once in a while. Besides, even if my recordings were great, why would I leave this place? This place is what allowed me to improve over the years.

But I really appreciate that.

(I'll leave when I can pull my hi-hat in closer to the middle :D )

Do you have a RAMI mix from 2004 that we could listen to?
Would be interesting.

Well done! You are a prolific songwriter, fine producer and musician. Yea I'd also like to hear something from 2004, it would be nice to hear how you have developed. Ever heard Becker and Fagan, The Early Years?

OK, I found a few tunes from 2006. Man, this is before I knew anything about acoustics, etc....My drums were crammed in a corner and my idea of room treatment was seat cushions from lawn chairs stapled to the wall.

Here's 2 originals and a Beatles cover, boxy-as-fuck-drums and everything. This is a little embarrassing. :(

Haha, yeah this is funny.
Drowning in Denial sounds like you. It's tight, it's your style but the mix is different. It's a bit bloated, the vocals are a lot further back than you do nowadays and the guitars are louder and more prominent.
Basketball kick on the other song
See this is the kind of shite we can rip on :D

And you did one of my favorite Beatles songs!

Ha! Fair enough. Rip away. :D

If I had the original tracks for the Beatles tune, I'd re-do the drums and re-mix it. But I lost the disc for that one and I'm not going to do it from scratch. I might do "Sexy Sadie" though, especially now that I have a piano.

Yea your mixes sound better now especially the drums. Performances are solid though. I like your version of the Beatles tune.

Thanx Paul. Funny how I thought those recordings were awesome at the time.

I think they are still pretty good. When I finish a song I usually feel like it's the best I've done so far at least for a little while and until I decide that it isn't. Which usually happens.

Every time. It goes in a cycle.

1) It's the greatest song in the history of the world

Three days later....

B) Man, I can't write good song to save my life. This is pure shit. How did I think this good?

A few months to a year later......

III) Hey, that wasn't bad at all. I almost forgot about this song. I should re-do this. With a few slight changes, this can be awesome.

:D

Funny thing is, that sort of just happened to me hearing these old tunes I just posted.
