i have a jv880 that i'm trying to sequence using an external sequencer (technics sy-mq8) im using a casio ht 6000 to control the jv, what i cant figure out is how to play back the 8 parts in PERFORMANCE mode all at the same time?...........if any of that makes sense............am i hooking the midi cables wrong or what?.................so confusing............please no posts sayin "dude u need to get software" or "dude you need up to date equipment".........cause ill just say "dude maybe i cant afford a computer right now"......or "dude maybe i enjoy using hardware"

Dude, you need to get a manual for the sequencer and the JV and like, read them.

dude....i do have manuals......that doesnt mean they speak english.............smartass

Dude, you need to use MMC from the Technics to start the sequences simultaneously. Each patch in the JV needs to be set to a different MIDI channel that corresponds to the MIDI channels for each sequence in the sy-mq8.

Refer to pages 4.1 through 4.7 and also 7.12 and 7.15. Section 4 explains how to save a performance (which is really just the group of instruments and the MIDI Rx channels of each and whatever FX you have applied to them) and 7.12 explains how to set up each part's MIDI Rx channel. 7.15 explains how to turn on each part to receive MIDI input.

It's not rocket science, dumbass.

for someone who is seeking help, you are not exactly endearing yourselves to those who might have the answers.
