Sequencer for Mac shoot-out; Which set-up is best and why? What are the inherent advantages and disadvantages. So far this is what I am looking at:

MOTU Digital Performer 4 w/ MOTU 828ii

OR

Logic 6 Platinum w/ MOTU 828ii

OR

Protools 6 w/ Protools 002 rack

Here are my preconceptions. Please comment if you disagree or if you have more to add:

DP4: Easy to learn. Good Midi and Audio. Same company as hardware (easy integration). Mildly questionable future due to Apple's purchase of Emagic, and lengthy waiting periods for software updates.

Logic 6: Difficult learning curve. Good Midi and Audio. Ugly and complex interface. Excellent future and updates with Apple.

PT 6: Somewhat easy to learn although perhaps not as much as DP4. Good Audio, Midi could be better. Track limitations, although I think 32 would be o.k. for what I want to do. Good integration with hardware.

Please comment and tell me what you have and/or what you would do.

Thanks!
