Hello Harvey,
Do you still have the NEI and how quiet is it?

Hello Harvey,
Do you still have the NEI and how quiet is it?
Yes, I still have it. It's pretty damn quiet - around -80 dB or so. It goes lower and higher than most parametrics I've heard. The "Air Band" at 24 kHz is especially nice.

Each band has a bypass switch to take it completely out of the path (a better method than just setting the Gain to 0), and a peak light for each band to indicate clipping. XLR and TS i/o. and NO WALL WART!

As with anything I decide to sell, you're welcome to buy it, try it for a while, and return it if you're not satisfied.

I'll have to talk to the BOSS and she's out of town for a few days with the check book. Hopefully when I tell her where it's coming from she'll say ok.

Thanks Harvey I'll be in touch soon.

Also on a non related issue my associate is looking for a new (or used) four channel pre amp with all the bells and whistles what direction should I put him in?
Thank you in advance.

I've got some local people interested in it, but you wanted it first, so if you still want it, I'll work out whatever payment terms you need and go ahead and ship it to you. I can also do paypal or whatever. Lemme know ASAP.

Harvey if someone local wants it let them have it cause it will be a few days before I can act on this.
Thank you for your time.

Hows that compressor? What would you compare it to?

thanks
Josh

The Behringer MPX1000 Autocom Compressor is sold.

The N.E.I. may be sold, but the guy hasn't returned my calls yet, so 1st person that wants it, gets it.

The dbx 1531 is still available. I'm dropping the price to $75, plus shipping.

It's pretty nice - kinda 1/2 way between a dbx 166 and an RNC. A little warmer than the RNC and not quite as warm as a 166. It leans slightly toward the warm/neutral side. Is it decent? Yes, it is, and we're keeping our other two Behringer Autocoms.
