Hi all
I'm looking to get a pair of monitors in the next couple of weeks. I don't have much cash and I've only got a small set up so I'm thinking of getting a pair of self powered ones like the Dynaudio BM5s. I only have one pair of stereo outs on my MAudio Audiophile soundcard...will this be a problem when I want to hook it all up? Considering I have about 350 pounds to play with (about $550) and am working mostly with heavy bass orientated music which sort of self powered, magnetically shielded monitors should I be looking at?
Thanks in advance!

I have a pair of Behringer 'Truth' nearfield monitors. They sell for $399 and sound great. They are worth checking out. They have two self contained amps per cabinet, one for the high and one for low end.

I've heard the Dynaudio's and didn't care for them AT ALL... I thought the Yorkville YSM-1p's (powered version of the YSM-1s) had a much better sound.
