Hi there! I was trying to record with Acid 3.0 today and had a 'bleeding' problem (yeah! like skaltpunk!!!).

I hit record, the instrumental plays, I record my verse, I click on 'Stop' and my record show up. Only problem is that you hear the instrumental, behind my vocals, really clearly! I told to myself, damn, must be a problem with Acid Pro 3.0.

Then I tried to record with CoolEdit Pro 1.2a and I had the same problem so I was wondering if it was my soundcard that was the problem -OR- some settings somewhere in Windows making the programs record the playback (You know what I'm sayin'...)...

Thanks in advance,
Beathoven

(P.S.: BTW, I got a SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum...)

One thing I can tell you but you've probably already tried this is go to Control Panel > Multimedia Preferences and make sure that your soundcard is selected in the prefered device under playback & recording. Make sure the "(Use Any Available Device)" option is not selected.

Did you check to see if "What You Hear" has become selected in the Windows audio mixer?????
