Seeking Newbie

[Neophyte]

I am looking for a good book or site that would start me at the beginning and build from there.

While I am familiar with a lot of recording information (I recorded ten years ago in college) I am not quite sure how to put it all together digitally.

I have:

Darla Card
Cakewalk Pro Audio 8
Yamaha PS530
Shure SM57
Mackie 1402-VLZ

Pentium 450
27 gig HD
128 Ram
4x CD-R

Try looking at some of the articles that are posted on the home page of this site. There are also a myriad of sites which offer info on digital recording. Try Harmony Central for one. Have fun!
