Listen to Mars Volta much? I can't really pick up on a chorus, if there is one. Pretty mellow all the way through, if the song was shorter, I wouldn't have gotten bored. Good mix though. Man that girls voice at the end is CREEPY!
Hi Ziv,
This is really a very good track in my humble opinion. Quite progressive sounding in a 2010 way and I'm detecting a definite Radiohead influence (am I right?). It has good space throughout that let's it breath and plenty of subtleties to draw folks into it.
Personally, I didn't find it overlong as it has a nicely thought out flow to it and enough stops/starts/changes to keep the interest. The strange ending with the little girls voice is perfect.
yes there is a definite radiohead influence and thats really hard not to notice hehe
and I really tried to make enough interest because i had previous experience with drum&bass and other electronic vibes, but in the end your roots draw you back and you can also here a very folkish touch thats true.
ill try to remix it with all of your opinions, i really appreciate this , thank you all again.
The intro is cool, love the scratchy drums and the effects. The song is well put together, though it is kinda long. I must admit I rewound it in the middle to hear the start again. Good stuff
As mentioned by others, I'm definitely sensing that Radiohead feel to the song --- specifically a "Paranoid Android" type of vibe, and how they're fond of using electronica yet manage to maintain an "organic" feel to their music. You have that on this track as well.
I think it's beautifully put together and I don't mind the song length at all. I like songs that meander and repeat a lot. Of course, that's coming from someone who's used to listening to 20-minute tracks and the occassional single-track full-length album.
i love your ears ^_^
'paranoid android' is one of few songs that will forever be burned in my thoughts
since 97, and recently i found myself going back to my root and digging it out.
i must admit that there are times that i cant even listen to thome yorke's
voice cause it brings many sore memories from all different times.
