Thanks a lot.
One of my favorite bands. RIP Lux.
I know, right? I need to get set up with a dripping slapback reverb for vox.
Thanks a lot.

Well, well, well. I never cared much for Metallica, and had almost abject hatred for them after they became little more than goons for the big labels and came out against Napster... and GregL, you are... well, not easy to like...
So that's why I waited so long to listen to your cover. But I gotta say, I like the surf vibe it has, which I hear in both the guitar and the drums. I do think more bottom end- bass and kick drum- would be good.
This is amazing, Greg.
Lol. Thanks, I think.![]()
Certainly an unexpected marriage that would have been tough for anyone but you to pull off. Personally, I'd like to hear a bit more snap to the toms, as I thought them a little too muted, but that's a taste thing. The rest is balanced well and served up perfectly.
haha...nice song, good work!
mix is fine here.
Greg, metal pwns your ass.
This is probably the coolest song you've ever done. I love metal and I loved their first 4 albums, but can't stand anything after those. The thing I find insane about this cover is you were actually able to make it work so well. I'm not sure many of their other songs would of been good for this type of thing, but you nailed it with seek and destroy. I'm going to show this too all my friends man. You just took the crown for best cover I've heard on these forums![]()
Didn't expect to see you in here. Thanks for checking it out and giving a non-butthurt assessment.Since I have never heard the original it is all new to me.
"If it sounds good, it is good." D.E.
and, it sounds good.
You would have to provide scientific evidence to pwn metal and then be prepared for metal nerds to debate and debunk your theories. Metal nerds are of the highest caliber of geekdom and normally have very high level characters in board playing games. Last thing you want is for them to bust out the D&D board.
The song still has an edge to it, which is part of the reason it came out so good. Not to mention I hate Metallica singing so it's a good thing you don't sound just like him![]()
