1. Guitar wise: proficient and well composed. Sounds good, varied, played without mistakes. Me likey.

2. Vox: I really can't hear them well enough. That may be because this comp doesn't play too loudly. Can't really tell. At the least I can tell they're performed well, save a few high notes towards the end that sounded a bit forced. I think the vox may be a bit low in the mix, as I can't discern many words over the guitar. However, understand that I know jack dick about recording and mixing.

hahaha thanks for you comment. Let me just point out that nothing was done on that. No mixing, no great mics, just a recording of a song really raw. It was recorded on one of the dinky computer mics.

It is getting really recorded soon. Yeah the words are def not fully set. I'm actually changing the key of the song to a much lower key, and the guitar tuning. I ripped my hair out long enough I need to set something forward with it. So I think I finally found what I"m looking for let's hope!

Everything at the end of the song was one take yeah my vox arent so great I agree but I will post the new recording soon. Just wanted to know if you like the song or not . Or if it's boring, or to long

Yeah dropping the key down a bit will probably take care of those vox problems right quick. It sounded like you could hit those last notes, just didn't do so well on that take.

Yep this one worked - did you do 2 versions one after the other on this recording? I really liked the guitar - interesting patterns and chords - seemed to fit with your voice very well but I just could not make out the lyrics! Can you post the lyrics - I'd like to see those - from what I could make out they seemed interesting. I very much liked the structure of the song too.

(If that was one version of the song - I think it went on a bit too long - if it was 2 then it is the perfect length!)

Anyway - you can return the favour and listen to mine (seeing as nobody else did when I originally posted the songs!)

There is only one version. The myspace version is the same as the purevolume one haha. I listened to your stuff (or your bands stuff) I enjoyed it. Sounded good. Are you the singer?
