Listened to this through Rokit 8's and Grado SR-225 cans a total of 3 times.
Sounded very, very professional. The song itself seemed a bit amateur, but the sound was (in my opinion) very radio-ready. At blasting levels, it still sounded like butter. Very, very beautifully mixed and mastered.
The radio-ready thing is good and bad. Good because you're sounding like stuff being played on the radio... and bad....because you sound like every song being played in this genre.
Would I listen to this, if I heard it on the radio? Yup. Sure would. Sounds great. Is there anything memorable about it? Sadly... Not really. After listening to it 3 times already within the last 20 minutes, right now, thinking about it, I honestly cannot recall at all what the song's tune was, but I do remember it sounded great and very radio ready.
Sorry if that came out harsh, but that's the way I like people to review my stuff. If ya hear it or think it - please say it like it is. We're all trying to get better in here.
Very, very, very good mix.
