Second SONAR patch available

Okay, I'll bite.... downloaded the patch and it tells me it can't find my (purchased and registered) copy of Sonar. So I moved the program to the folder with Sonar.... same thing "you do not have sonar1 installed on this computer...." Any thoughts..... thanks in advance.

Do you maybe own a copy of Sonar and tried to apply the SonarXL patch or vica versa?

Check out the SONAR newsgroup

Look at the Cakewalk Usenet newsgroup...

News server name is news.cakewalk.com
Newsgroup is Product.SONAR

I noticed a bunch of people complaining about the same thing, and someone figured out how to get it to work... I downloaded it, crossed my fingers, and it worked just fine for me.

Will check the newsgroup... I only download 100 questions at a time, and it wasn't in the 100 so I reset it higher and will have to exit and reenter.

I have Sonar xl and did the xl patch.... just gotta love it!! Will post here if I get the answer.

The suggestion was to run the patch from the Sonar directory. I had already tried that and tried it again (seems like a reasonable solution... right?) Any other ideas or suggestions? (I have sent an e-mail to cakewalk already, but it could be 2-3 days before I hear back)
