Sebatron vmp-2000e like new

like New Sebatron VMP-2000e Stereo Tube Mic Preamp, I used it about 4 times and has been safely stored away.

I'm looking for a local buyer in Denver since I dont have the means to sell it online, I will also ship it if payment made trough western union.

I was asking $750 now asking 720 local pickup or shipped.

It's not too hard to ship stuff like that. Find a wide, shallow box (open on the largest face) that's at least an inch bigger in every direction (and ideally 2-3"), along with three plastic garbage bags, a couple of cans of aerosol foam, and a thick book or two.

Take the book and place it in the middle of the box. Place the garbage bags at the ends of the box with the opening on the outside of the box (draped over the ends of the box). Put the unit in a third bag, and place the unit on top of the book (to lift it off the bottom).

Spray aerosol foam into the two bags until it would occupy the space around the end of the unit. Tie the bags shut (but leave LOTS of empty space because the foam will expand a fair amount) and close and seal the box. Wait for the foam to harden.

After the foam has hardened, unseal the box and retrieve your book. Reseal the box and ship it.

BTW, it is a good idea to take tubes out of their sockets and wrap them in bubble plastic prior to shipping. Either wrap this in an antistatic bag and place it inside the unit or ship them in a separate box (recommended). Use foam peanuts or whatever as needed.

The reason I stated that I was looking for a local buyer is because I dont have the means to accept online payment like paypal, and at my current moment I wont be able to sign up to any of these services, however I am willing to accept payment trough WESTERN UNION,and will ship it the same day payment is recieved just as the previous poster explained.

I will be more than willing to provide my home phone number, and my address to the buyer, I can also e-mail the ONLINE RECEIPT that was given to me when I purchased the unit . I'm not looking to ripp anyone off its just at this moment Im in need of funds.

As you can see in my previous postings I was asking advice on what kind of pre-amp to get and was told the sebatron would be a good choice so I bought the unit, I dont want to sell it but at the moment I have no choice.

like I posted the unit is i basically in brand new condition, and it was never mounted on a rack,I do have the manual but I dont have the box it came in.

So if you are interested please pm me I will drop the price down to 720and I will pay for the shipping.
 
Why Western Union? The fact that you will opnly accept payment through Western Union makes it smell like a scam to me.
 
Like I wrote in the previous post I dont have a bank account to open a paypal account, I have netteller but my bank is in overdraft.

I know people like yourself will think its a scam and I cant help that, I can only give you my assurance that its not, and with my online receipt given to me by proaudiotoys.com you can call and verify that i bought it from them and actually have it. I'm not forcing anyone to buy it and if you do live near Denver CO you can pick it up locally. :)
 
AFAIK, you don't have to have a bank account to accept paypal payments, though you probably do to take credit card payments. At least you didn't have to have one when I joined... back in the dark ages....

IIRC, Paypal will mail you a check as long as it meets some minimum dollar amount... though I may be thinking of ETrade....
 
I used to have an account with paypal and you do need a bank account since they deposit two small amounts in your account in order to verify it. But I do appreciate you trying to help.
 
scratch that buyer never came trough :mad:

I am now accepting paypal payment :)
