I am about to install my slot resonators. I have it all framed out and drywall installed. I just need to attatch the boards to the studs and I'm concerned about sound leakage.
Sorry about the crappy picture, it's easier to visualize than it is to draw. What I am concerned about is the air passageway that goes between the boards on the slot resonator and through the gap that the resilient channel creates underneath the drywall. How do you seal this? The obvious answer is to squeeze some caulk into there, but I'm going to to be burlap behind the boards on the slot resonator, and I dont know if the caulk will stick to this. How are people doing this (sealing off the gap that resilient channel creates on edges).
Thanks in advance.
