Oh yeah, we will see Academy Of Sound, they are on our list and I am sure they will be a dealer for us.
That's very good news (insert smiley). The selection of LDCs at my local branch is pretty small (a couple of Rodes and the C3000 at my end of the price range, and the occasional TLM103 at t'other). The problem with AOS is that not all outlets carry the same stock. So even if your mics get into, say the Nottingham store, they might not be on the shelves at my local AOS or the one in Stoke-On-Trent. Just a word of caution.
The Custom Shop idea sounds like it could be a go-er. Now, about the hypercardioid capsule for the C4!
