SDS from SoundForge -> S700

Hello all. Pretty new around here, but I like what I see. So, I recently picked up an Akai S700 (ancient, I know), and I want to use MIDI SDS to dump samples FROM SoundForge TO the S700. Whenever I try, I see the 'sending' message in SF, but nothing ever gets to the S700. I've got MIDI connected in a loop between my PC and the S700, so that isn't the problem.

Any info appreciated, or any software you know about that will handle sample dumps.

Usually, especially on older synths, you need to tell the synth to expect the midi dump. I'm not familliar with Akai but my old M1 worked that way. You will probably find it in a global setting and it will give you a "Awaiting midi data" message or something like that.
