SDC without a 4dB top boost for under £200?

Hi there

I'm trying to suggest a mic for a jazz violinist friend to use live. It seems common knowledge that you don't really want the 4dB lift that exists from 5k upwards (common in many mics) for violin. There is the Rode NT55 with just a 2dB lift around £239, but anything cheaper? NT5 reviews seem indifferent.

Can't say enough about NAIANT microphones for your purpose. You can even get the mount for it!
Even though it is American made the price is within the budget even with shipping etc.
