My kids love Scooby Doo , thought it would be fun to try and do a cover, used a Quilter tone block 202 direct into the board. Used a Wampler Gearbox in front for the dirt , also used a boss sy1 and ehx s9 for the 1st part of guitar solo. Bass guitar was a EHX BAttalion direct. Used a classic 70s vibe squire p bass for Bass track, Used a Harley Benton Mr, a IBG 59 Les Paul , and a US Fender strat for guitars. Drums are betamonkee loops

Cool. That was fun. :thumbs up:

I've got a version that I did about 30 years ago. I'll go digging and see if I can find it.

I had forgotten about this until you posted yours - I had to do some serious digging to find it as it was buried deep. I found a lot of other interesting stuff while searching - so thanks for that.

If memory serves - this was recorded in 1998? maybe. Not long after I purchased my VS840, I think. I can't remember exactly - but I think I used a VHS tape of the actual show to pick out the bass part - this was way before youtube. I have no explanation for what I did here with the guitar part - it's bizarre. Roland R70 drum machine (which I still own). And my long time band drummer and best friend Brian Tift sang the vocals.

Rooby-doo! lol

Love it! Vocals sound great! I like the sound of that guitar! Bass sounds great as well! Its a real fun song to play and this is a great version! Thanks for sharing!

Those are both great tunes! They brought back a lot of memories! I remember Banana Splits, Road Runner, etc, cartoons had cool theme songs back then. Thanks for posting these!

Great job by both of you - the @stratmonkee version sound close to the 2nd season George A. Robertson Jr. version - where as @PorterhouseMusic sounds close to the 1rst season Larry Marks version.

An observation of a true Scooby aficionado! :thumbs up: :D

That choppy gtr part makes me think I was going through a reggae phase.😀

Ha this great. Love the lead break 1.21, that's killer. Punky drums really fit. What did the kids think of it :D ?
