Owed money? Owed promsied a product? Mad for no reason. Post here maybe
it will help disuade any misinformed person from being robbed by the shark.
Deepwater...Now it all makes sense. :) OK I'LL START:

Damaged Wharfedales arrived 3-12-05, was promised a new set in two-three weeks. I have been ignored ever since even though he continues to post here daily. I am not the only one. Its ok victims - you CAN tell your story. Post here and prevent this from happening to anyone else.

You can handle the claim with Fedex yourself if you prefer. I would be happy to let you sort it out with Fedex.

But for the record all known claims have been filed and replacements shipped this week. It takes about 3 weeks for Fedex do a claim and then 2 weeks for me to get the replacement monitors from Wharfedale and 1 week in shipping before they hit your door.

Looks like yours are right on schedule :)

Here the Tracking numbers for the Fedex Claims that have been shipped out this week

Uh, Deepwater.... I know your intentions of posting the info was good, but you may want to remove your post.

I'm pretty sure putting tracking numbers of private transactions on a public forum violates a number of new privacy laws!

After much prodding, Deepwater has responded to my concerns. Apparently there is a brand new set of undamaged monitors on their way to me. Upon arrival of the new undamaged monitors I will retract the above statement and
say thank you. Most misunderstandings can be avoided by thorough and timely communication. ;)

all this comes back to
the savings of $30 or so??
which can be easily erased when you have to
wait or ship back messed up crap with fhkd up crap-quality.

hell...sounds like someones in "deepwater" around here? hardyharhar..

what i start wondering is with so many quality issues on these ChinaWharfs (not deepwaters fault),
are these Factory REFURB speakers???? leds' burnt out, tweeters blown,
speaker damaged, amps don't work....
maybe this is why the price is cheaper?
(altho my quote from the deep the special-savings was only $30??)

deepwater...i don't know, i kinda think your getting fhkd due to FED EX and CRAP QC control on the China-Wharfs...
but also you pocketed some $$$ and its part of business dealing with
pissed off customers.

personally, i would discontinue the China-Wharfedale line....or tell em you
want Wharf to ship some "free" Wharf $99 subs to those who got fhkd and waited 4months for response/correction!!!
you have all these posts as your witness!!
hell sue fhkng FED EX!!! you could buy a $500,000 house...tell 'em its caused
MENTAL STRESS and you could retire $$$
and record the rest of your days!!!

wow now i'm emailing on these Deepwater threads too???
wht the fhk happened to learning about Mixing and Monitors??

It's apparently been overrun by doofuses who feel this compelling need to jump on a bandwagon.

Sheesh.

I'm still waiting on a replacement for a bad 8.2a. Deepwater assured me it would be coming soon.

!!!you too!!
fhkng contagious...damnnn

here we all are again???
maybe its all a subliminal advertisement ploy by Wharfedale!!

maybe deepwater is actually a virtual being invented by Wharfedale
then using reverse phsychology to build up anger which is then followed
by sympathy and then followed by a labotamy???
whoooa.

Well I just tracked all of those packages, and one of them is headed my way. Hopefully that's my replacement Wharfey.

I don't understand how "fedex" screwed up so many packages. Is it possible that Fedex didn't and we are just now finding out why Wharfedale monitors are so cheap?

It sounded like these were being dropshipped. I imagine Wharf is more used to freight, where there goods are more protected on a pallet than the ol' Fedex drop 'n' kick. I wonder how well these are packaged

I'm just pissed off for no good reason...

I can post here... right?

Notice that the line has not been removed, nor altered, from deepwaters sig...
Hmmmmmmm ;)

I shipped a pair of behringer truths cross country to my self when I was moving. They were shipped to me via UPS, and I used the same packaging to ship via FED EX, and they arrived damaged. Mabye its time for a new carrier?

PS. I bought from deepwater and tyhey arrived in perfect condition.

My experience w/ Deepwater was not positive. But I've talked enough about it in other threads. Eventually got my money back and bought a beaautiful pair of Yorkville YSM1p's last weekend from a brick and mortar around here. No hassles and the store had them on sale for $100 off the pair. After the deepwater experience it's brick and mortar all the way for stuff like this for me.

No, I don't think so..... There's zero personal data involved.... ;)

Well, if Wharfedale can't even package something to be shipped, then why would I want to buy something they make?

I agree that tracking numbers should not be posted like that. There is personal info involved, just maybe not SS#'s and such. Also, dealers should not post dealer costs on here either. Just bad taste in my opinion.

I looked up a couple of those tracking numbers, and really there is no personal information. No SS number, no address even, just the name of the town. Etiquette aside, I don't see how anybody could glean personal information from those tracking numbers.
