I was going to buy the guitar grimoire book as I heard that was good but I can't find it anywhere. But i was cruzing ebay and came across THIS do you think it's legit or another "fret2fret" thing.

Thanks

Looks like a high marketing to usefulness ratio to me. There are a couple of sites that cover music theory for guitar pretty well, and lots of places with good exercises. If you feel you have a solid grasp on technique, web it up, if not, you'll need an instructor, not a book.

Where are you now in all the theory stuff? If you have'nt learned the notes of the fretboard and chord construction, I'd hold off on all the scale stuff. A teacher would probably be a good idea if lessons are'nt a problem. If you decide to find a teacher, look for someone that you admire musically and feel comfortable with.
