I recently sold my OMNI and had to put the SBLIVE card back in.
It plays the CD player and other audio format files fine in Stereo.

If I play a file on SONAR then it plays only in MONO. When I open SONAR, I get the error "one or more soundcards do not support stereo, default has been set to MONO". As a result, a stereo wavefile on SONAR is being played in MONO.

If I go to the the audio options in SONAR, I see 1 input driver and 3 output drivers. Also under the "drivers" tab I don't see hte "enable driver in MONO" enabled.

So why is this playing SONAR in MONO?
Thanks :)

Because Creative's WDM drivers are poorly written and were never intended for DAW work.

Do yourself a favor and dump the SB and at least get a M-Audio Audiophile 2496.

Actually I bought a Yamaha AW4416. So I sold the M-audio OMNI I had. I just want to be able to have the SBLIVE. It used to work before.

Thanks.
