Would I be able to use the Sblive for the effects that it produces?
For example...run it through the aux sends/returns on my mixer and then out to my Delta 44? Has anyone ever done this? I kinda think that for a card as cheap as it is, it has pretty damn good effects.

for onboard stuff, yeah, aux on the mixer to line input on sb...sb out to aux returns or free mixer channels.

In that case you will have to deal with the latency of the live. In any situation where you do live input processing, latency becomes an issue. You will hear it as delay while you are playing, and since you're ultimately recording with the Delta, you'll have to line the tracks from the Live up since they'll be off by the amount of latency introduced by the Live.

It's doable though, as j said.

Ah, but the live does hardware DSP......let us know how this works out for you. Latency might not be much of an issue at all.
