hey everyone,

has anybody got or tried the Audigy? if you have...how's the quality? and the a/d d/a converters?

It's still a Soundblaster, right? Still a gamer card. Poor choice for digital audio. The AD/DA converters will not be high quality unless Creative Labs has drastically improved on the Live converters. If you want a high quality digital audio card in the $200 range look into the Echo Mia or M-Audio Audiophile. If you want a MIDI card look at the Live Value, it's inexpensive but very good. Don't use a gamer card for digital audio.
