They suck in my humble opinion. I prefer the gloss finish.
 
What brought this on? LOL! Tell us how you really feel about satin finish Gibson guitars! LOL!
 
The only ones I've seen done up that way are LP Studios, and yes, I thought they looked cheap compared with a gloss finish...I wouldn't turn one down though merely due to that though!
 
And to think I was just about to send you one as a gift! LOL!
 
i like a satin finish

especially on the neck

slides better than gloss
