Anyone had any expierience with the Tech 21 SansAmp GT2? If so, what do you think of it?

Lol!! YES! Another previous J-Station user! I've still got mine....stuffed away in a box somewhere. Just for the heck of it, I turned off my Trademark 60 and plugged into old J-Station for a while......how did I ever think that sounded good??? The Genesis boxes were basically J-Stations with 2 DSPs, so you could switch patches without the sound cutting out.Fusioninspace said:Sold it a couple of years later and then went through buying and selling various modelers (Johnson J-Station, Genesis something or another, etc.).

I'm thinking about a nice Schecter baritone and the sansamp classic, and a new duncan pu for my ibanez or maybe my epi... should be able to get nice and sludgy with the baritone, and clean up a bit with the ibanez or epi...
The classic should get plenty dirty for recording sake, wouldn't you think?
Of course, I'm probably going to change my mine 15 times before I actually order....![]()

if you think the box comes close to the real amp than you know that you are dealing with a fine piece of gear

I like to put a Dynacomp in front of it,which can also drive the Sansamp even more.
