Samson C02 mics

im looking to get a pretty good accoustic microphone. ive heard good things and also bad things about these, so im needing help on what to get. so let me know if you have any ideas or advise for me and id greatly appriciate it

Got a pair of them. The only thing they see for work is drum over heads.
Only during live sound reinforcement, they have never see the inside of the studio.

i also have a pair, and i quite liked them

used them as drum overheads,and once in a while on acoustic guitar..

i've heard them get a bad rep all too often,

i might A/B them with my sm81s and see how they go.

I've been using them on drum overheads for a while. Haven't seen a reason to upgrade my overhead mics really...

I got a pair from B&H for $78 shipped 2 weeks ago. I'm planning to mod them for fun (just google "Samson c02 mod"). I figure if I mess up, I'm not out very much money.
