Samplitude?

Who uses it, and what do you think? I just spent a half hour digging through the website, and it looks like a beautiful program that includes just about every feature I've ever remotely imagined, and then some. I can crossgrade pretty cheap. So... how's the performance, sound quality, any weird quirks? Does it run VSTis well? Does it support any inter-app communication, like Rewire?

I use an earlier version(6.04) and love it.
It is the most stable and powerful software I have ever used. (i have used Cakewalk ver 3.0 through Sonar 1.3, CuBase ,Sound Forge and Protools Mix24)
However the earlier version is pretty much audio only.
There are a few quirks they are working out since the inception of ver 7.0 where they added a lot of VST and midi options that are totally new.

Perhaps someone with experiance with the version 7 series will pipe in.

its more stable then a widow whose husband was bill gates...

i hear its one of the best sounding daw haven't had the luxury to listen to them all but it did sound better then sonar 2.2

vsti support runs great....no rewire that i'm aware of

once you change to samplitude you won't look back except for maybe midi..but i never took the time to try an learn it though so maybe the midi is ok too
