Sampling with software

I just got Native Instruments Battery so i can link each sound to whatever note i choose then play them through midi. Battery is off the chain!!! I would like to have a sample editor that i could use also. I wanna chop and stuff like i do in acid pro. I usually just play both programs at the same time but that uses a good bit of cpu. Are there any vst/dx based plugins that do something like acid pro? How do yall sample?

Propellerhead's ReCycle is my weapon of choice... It would be cool, even without using Reason..

there is a VSTi called phatmatik pro that is very similar to recycle as far as its choping abilities but has a sampler interface on top so you can adjust VCA ENV, VCF (has 3 types), and some other things on a slice by slice basis or globally.

Wavelab -> Soundforge -> Recycle -> Reason -> Nuendo -> Pro Tools is my way of sampling w/ software, I have no complaints...

Maybe if you paid for your software instead of stealing it you would have taken the time to read a manual or 2 and found out a proper method to sample.
