Should I dither when down sampling from 48 to 44.1 only...bit rate stays the same?

If the bit depth stays the same there's no need to dither. Just do a sample rate conversion from 48 to 44.1. It's always best to dither as the very last step.

Thanks much...that's what I figured but I just wanted to make sure. I went ahead and started a new session at 48 instead my usual 44.1 to avoid the whole mess. I also wanted to hear if there was any difference at the higher sample rate since I haven't used 48 in PT so far.
