I really don't know if it's ok to ask at this point but the worst that can happen is someone tells me I'm a pleb for using samples I guess!

Morning all.

Looking for some samples of a large 26" kick. Thinking Bonham-esque maybe, have lofty ideals of the Pendulum Witchcraft/Come Alive sort of sound and seemed a good place to start. Trouble is there's not much out there in the world. Bought the Yurt Bonhamology pack which is a bit more on the reverb-y side. Steven Slate Modern Zep kit seems closest but it's not quite there.

Does anyone with a 26" fancy recording me a little set? How much would you charge also? PM or post here.

In all seriousness though if this contravenes any rules or anything in the asking then I apologise in advance.

Thanks for that. Did mention in the OP but actually bought V1 and V2 from Yurt. It's close enough but it's not quite there (bit too much 'verb on it all.) Cheers though.
My reading comprehension is declining apparently - I know what you mean about the drums not quite being there - you could try this: Handy Drums- ROCK LEGEND v2

Actually their Rock Standard seems somehow closer and really isn't bad! The Rock Legend pack though has that delicious skin noise and just the right sort of 'boom' without being too wooly. I'm sure somewhere in fiddling with transients for days the sound is there.

If anyone out there though has anything like this mic-ed up at home and fancies recording a little do let me know, I will compensate you for your time/kick-ing.
