Sample of Brand New Heat From ya boy Tone!

I like the piano sample and overall mix. Balance-wise, I'd lower the snare a bit and maybe move it back in the soundstage depth with a short verb.

That piano wasn't a sample. I played all the parts by hand. As far as the mix, i couldn't blast my monitors because i'm in an apartment complex so i had to mix on my headphones, which i know is a no no! :D Thanks for the feedback!!
 
Hey tim, what about that picture? LOL :D I found that floating around the net. Looks gross huh.

Ha! Well that explains why it sounded so good. Ah well, it's so rare to hear real piano in anything on these boards I assumed wrong. Kudos man for mic'ing the piano.

Yeah, I've seen that picture before I think... Was it someone's avatar here at HR? Mabye that was it. Makes me glad I've got a dentist.

Ok, i still kinda mislead you a bit! :D I played the piano part on my korg triton with it's piano sound. I did not mic a piano(although i wish i had a real one to mic!). When you said sampled, i thought you thought i'd took the sample from a song or something. All the music was played with the triton except for the drums, which i put together in Fl Studio. And that picture, i take offense to your statement. That's me!! :D Just kidding. LOL.
 
I gotcha. :) Either way, it's the player, not whether or not it's digital that matters.
