Samo ole monitor quetion, (but answer anyway!!)

O.K. I have the same ole question "Which monitors to buy"

I bought a year or so ago the little m=M-Audio sb5b's

Better than headphones and have worked with them and sort of got use to them but would like to take a step or two up.

I know I really need to listen to some but how about 4 or 5 recommendations of something in the $300 to $400 dollar range that would be worth considerig. (Can I find somenthing that's a real improvement in that range?)

They will give you a sound as good as Mackies (if not better).

I really like it, coz when you upgrade to new monitors in future you can always use them as your home theatre speaker.
