Gods are tricky things though ... you just never know which God is actually listening ...
Norse, Greek, Roman gods ... all later subsequently judged to actually be myths and therefore culturally nullified (so they are DEFINITELY not listening) ... our modern vogue Judaic diety society of gods (Jew/Christian/Muslim) still undergoing further historic evaluation ... so who KNOWS if this grouping will be around in another thousand years -- they seem to be losing ground daily ...
If you want a nature based religion, there's always Wiccan ... or Native American.
... and the eastern religions? Well, they've been around a few thousand years earlier/longer than the Judaic-based cult, but I dunno -- Buddah stuff just doesn't appeal to me, but, again, who can argue with 80 somewhat billion believers? It's so hard to select what's "right". What's going to get me my ticket to heaven?
I guess we're all fully entitled to mis-believe what we choose to believe. I just guess I wish more folks weren't so culturally blind to the blindness.

You might be surprised that I'm not against spirituality...only rigid fundamentalism in any religious form...not that you were specifically espousing that...
...just thoughts...
