Sabian AAX Dark Crash

Have you ever tried this cymbal??. I´m looking for another crash to add to my AAX Stage Setup. It has to be 16". I play rock/pop and blues, also love recording.

I love this cymbal. It can be played soft and loud and it adds a lot of character to your set up, especially your AAX stages which are primarily bright cymbals. I would own one but its a little too thin for me.

I played the 14'' for a while and really loved it. My two crashes at the time were a AAX Stage Crash and the Dark Crash and I was always drawn to the Dark's sound a lot more.

For Dark cymbals, I love Paiste's 16" Dark Energy Mark I Crash, and the Sgnature Full crashes (specially the 18" one... mmm)... but if your into Sabian, then I don't know, sry :-.

It´s great to have people that can give you an advice. It´s the way to go for me because in my country you can´t find a variety of SABIAN cymbals. So I go to the sound check (Sabian´s web) listen to the sample and see how it match with the cymbal I got. That´s how I found the Dark Crash, I was looking for dark sounds thinking more on a recording situation, my stage crash it´s bright and the OH´s I use are MXL603 so go figure. Then I look for some sabian artists who use this cymbal but I didn´t find anybody. What I do found was a lot of people using El Sabor Crash, so I go and listen it. Too bright for my needs, then I post this thread.
It´s good for me know that some of you have tried this cymbal and love it.
