S/PDIF Cables!

I would like to know if the length of my cords coming from my digital I/O has any effect on the signal or could I use any cord length available.

There is a certain length, I think that it is any multiple of 12 feet wich causes jitter. I'm not one hundred percent on that - so don't use me as a lifeline on "who want's to be a millonare" but I'm pretty sure. You might try to contact tech support at digidesign or apogee for the exact length.

If you are using coaxial cables then it's best to use a minimum length.

Try to use high 75 ohm cable if you can.
