Rokket, ever play in different tunings? I have something tuned down to C#, its 3 main chords, and could have 3 chorus chords if need be. Very simple, slow plodding stuff. Distorted guitar, and some drum loops. I'd like you to see what you can do to it, if your interested. We could just repeat it for 2:00, and let them have at it.

I have a 5-string bass, so I don't mess with the tuning too much, but I can play in C# without a problem....

Wanna give them something very simple then? 3 chords, a very repetetive drum rythum, and whatever you want to do on bass? The bass I tried to do was just a copy of the guitar, plus an odd filler note here and there, so this thing went nowhere for me. I thought maybe a bit different bass would make it more interesting for them.

It's just downtuned, so the whole thing plods a bit. Interested?
I will work on the guitar tomorrow, and post it for you to listen to if you want. That just saves me from having to try my hand at a solo. :D

I am! I am! I gave it the old college try last night, but my arm fatigued on me. I am using my hand grip exerciser. I will have it done this weekend, without an more excuses...

Speaking of money... I still have not received that check that you promised to send for letting you play on my track... ;)

I've prolly still got a copy since I rarely clean out my SENT folder. Email me if you want me to resend it.

Found a new one when I got remarried....





Oh, and I am going to start on that track sometime later tonight. I have to rest my left arm....

Your track took a lot more out of me than I thought.

That song fekkin' rocks, though...

I personally did not want to do a stupid poll.
I thought Mshil's idea of just arguing for all eternity was priceless.

Next time id rather just do it that way.
Vothing on a guitar solo is such a preference thing.
Not really a good idea IMO.

Oh, and that whole "none of this DI sissy stuff".
That was a low blow and youre a definate antagonist, bravo.
But it's stuff like that that wouldve made original thread way cooler.

I haven't listened to any of them ... so I'm voting ... Purge. Cos he's a 'horrible bastard', plus his was called 'suck my rock'. :p
