Ok this is killing me! Here's the deal.

Cubase SL3 ,i'm trying to run the track through a Voicemaster pro.The track has been recorded as an audio(by soundfont) so i'm trying to run this audio track out of my pc using Audiophile 192.So its mono output that goes out of the SL3 (pc) through Voicemaster and back to that soundcard and record it on the new track.

The problem is that i get this feedback and no way to monitor the sound.I'm hopeless people, how can i do this proper?

Lost!

Thanks,i'm open to your opinions.

mute the track you're recording on in cubase and monitor with headphones through the VMP

make sure you have your routing right. Are external effects part of SL3? if yes, then use that. Otherwise, set the audio tracks output to whatever mono out is to the effect, and route that back into a new audio track

Thanks guys, but still no go.I tried to mute it lemon, but it still records with the feedback.

Hmmm.....

Wait,so i dont run it to "line in" on VMP? Should i run the mono channel to the FX return and send on VMP? I was just routing the signal "line in" then "-10 db output"
