Routing all gear from external mixer into cubase

Hi

I'm not really familiar with cubase sx 2 so i was wondering if anybody could help me here.

I have a digital mixer; BehringerDDX; which has everything else i use connected into it it including my mic preamp/mic/ sampler/keyboard. What i'm trying to do is do some vocal recording using my mic and need to use my mic and mic-preamp play into cubase sx 2 so i can record it and lay it on a track i made on reason.

I've looked all over cubase settings to see if i can get some sort of sound played while im messing with the keyboards but i have no luck. i can only get midi signals, at best.

I'm connecting the mixer through RS232 to RS232 leads. My soundcard is very basic.. its just a line in/line out/mic.. thats all......Can anybody help me here?

Ok i've figured it out - Gonna write it down for reference;

I connected a phono to line from my track out on my mixer to my line in on my pc and voila!

also remember to set your computer's audio control to have LINE IN as your recording point.
